FIELD: medicine and pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of medicine and pharmaceuticals, and in particular to a method for producing a bactericidal material based on organo-modified bentonite clay. Method for obtaining a bactericidal material based on organically modified bentonite clay: quarry bentonite clay is treated with sodium carbonate at room temperature in the following ratio, wt.%: bentonite:sodium carbonate - 45-50:0.5-1.0, the rest is water; the resulting clay powder after drying at a temperature of 110°C to constant weight is mixed with crystalline 2-amino-5-guanidine-pentanoic acid (arginine) in the following ratio, wt.%: bentonite: arginine - 45-50: 3.0-5, 0, the rest is water; kept at room temperature for 24 hours, dried to constant weight at a temperature of 110°C; the resulting clay powder is poured with an aqueous solution of silver nitrate with a concentration of 0.08-0.09 wt.% in the following ratio of components, wt.%: bentonite: solution of silver nitrate - 2-5: 95-98; after 24 hours, the clay is filtered off, dried at a temperature of 110°C to constant weight.
EFFECT: above invention makes it possible to obtain a material with pronounced bactericidal properties, to reduce the amount of spent expensive silver nitrate reagent without complex equipment and high energy costs.
