FIELD: hydrocarbon fields geological modelling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of geological modeling of hydrocarbon fields, including oil, and can be used in the oil and gas industry to build a digital three-dimensional grid of a geological model of terrigenous deposits with an underlying erosional surface at the base, in order to map non-anticlinal traps and correctly calculate hydrocarbon reserves. The method includes the selection of sedimentation cycles, limited by reference clays, according to geophysical surveys. Construction of the structural surface of sedimentation cycles based on the correlation between the thicknesses of sedimentation cycles and the total thickness of the terrigenous unit overlying the erosional surface, with the selection of subordinate cycles by the absence of continuous reference clay between adjacent sedimentation cycles, with their subsequent merging into one sedimentation cycle. 3D gridding using parallel bedding for the bottom cycle and proportional bedding for the overlying sedimentation cycles. The areas of intersection of the plantar cycle and its subordinate cycles with the underlying erosional surface are mapped as the boundary of a non-anticline trap.
EFFECT: reliable mapping of the boundaries of non-anticlinal traps.
