FIELD: building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of production of building materials, in particular foam silicate heat-insulating material. The mixture is prepared by dosing the components at their ratio, wt.%: microsilica 57.87-65.71, sodium hydroxide in terms of Na2O 14.47-17.14, filler in the form of waste from the enrichment of apatite-nepheline ores 12.38-14.29 and a modifying additive in the form of ash or ash and slag mixture 4.76-14.89. The mixture components are mixed, the mixture is loaded into a mold and kept for 20-24 hours in air. Then, the charge is foamed in an oven at a temperature of 650-675°C for 25-35 minutes. After that, the temperature is lowered to 500-570°C within 5-7 minutes and the foam silicate material is annealed at this temperature for 10-15 minutes. It is then cooled in an oven to ambient temperature.
EFFECT: method allows to obtain foam silicate material with reduced water absorption of 6.1-8.3 vol.% and thermal conductivity of 0.066-0.069 W/m⋅K with fewer operations.
