FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of construction materials, particularly foam silicate heat-insulating material. Method of producing foamed silicate material includes batching components of the mixture, their mixing, hydrothermal treatment of the mixture and loading it into a mould, holding in air, foaming the mixture in a furnace at high temperature, lowering the temperature, annealing the foam silicate material and cooling it in the furnace to ambient temperature. Mixture components used are microsilica, sodium hydroxide, a filler in the form of a nepheline-containing component – nepheline concentrate, a modifying additive – chalk and gypsum.
EFFECT: reduced water absorption and heat conductivity of the foamed silicate material.
