FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to two options of a method for the production of one or several of phenol and xylols. According to one of options, the method includes: introduction of a flow containing phenols of raw materials into a zone of separation of raw materials. Next, the flow containing phenols of raw materials is separated in the zone of separation of raw materials into at least a phenol flow containing phenol and an alkyl-phenol flow containing alkyl-phenols. Then, the alkyl-phenol flow and a reagent flow containing one or several components of benzol or toluene are transalkylated in a transalkylation zone in conditions of a transalkylation reaction to obtain an output transalkylation flow containing phenols and alkyl-benzols. The output transalkylation flow is further separated in a zone of separation of phenols into a recirculated phenol flow containing phenol and an aromatic compound flow containing benzol, toluene, xylols, and heavy alkyl-benzols. Next, the aromatic compound flow is separated in a zone of separation of aromatic compounds into at least a recirculated flow containing one or several components of benzol and toluene, a heavy alkyl-benzol flow containing heavy alkyl-benzols, and a mixed xylol flow containing mixed xylols. The mixed xylol flow is separated in a zone of separation of xylols into the second xylol flow containing o-xylol and m-xylol, and p-xylol flow containing p-xylol. Then, the second xylol flow is isomerized in an isomerization zone in conditions of an isomerization reaction to obtain an output isomerization flow containing mixed xylols; and one or several flows are isolated from the phenol flow and p-xylol flow.
EFFECT: invention allows for obtainment of phenol and xylol by an efficient method.
