SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to preparations intended for the prevention and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases in animals, and discloses an agent for the prevention or treatment of diarrhea in animals, containing an active substance, which is pectin in the form of a solution in a culture liquid obtained by cultivation of zooglea Medusomyces Gisevii, in the following ratio of components, g/kg: Cultural liquid obtained by cultivating zooglea M. Gisevii 990.0, Pectin 10.0, and the cultural liquid obtained from 10 liters of water, which is brought to a boil, add 80, 0 g of green tea, extraction is carried out for 20 minutes, cooled to a temperature of 20-30°C, filtered; 9 parts of the obtained green tea extract are poured into the bioreactor, 1 part of sucrose is added, mixed; in the resulting nutrient mixture additionally contribute the already prepared culture liquid in the amount of 2.5-3 kg, obtained from the previous fermentation of the nutrient mixture; and left for 10-14 days at a temperature of 28°C for fermentation.

EFFECT: antidiarrheal effect and increase in digestion activity, stimulation of nutrient absorption processes, increase in immunostimulating and anabolic effect.
