FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing synthetic zeolite of NaA type used in chemical, petrochemical and oil processing industries as an additive to synthetic detergents for reducing hardness of process water. Method of producing synthetic zeolite of NaA type involves mixing an aluminate solution and a sodium silicate solution, heated to a temperature of at least 50°C, with constant stirring to obtain aluminosilicate gel, its crystallisation with constant stirring and temperature and subsequent separation of obtained zeolite of NaA type by filtration and washing, while preparing an aluminosilicate gel with molar ratios SiO2/Al2O3 from 1.4 to 1.8, Na2O/Al2O3 from 4.0 to 4.5 and H2O/SiO2 from 30 to 50, for this purpose, distilled water is added to liquid glass based on silica gel and aluminate solution and each solution is heated in a water bath to at least 50°C, heated aluminate solution is added to the hot silicate solution and held for at least 10 minutes with intense mixing and a temperature of at least 50°C, crystallisation process is carried out at temperature from 95 to 100°C and time from 60 to 90 minutes, obtained mixture is filtered to obtain a solid phase of zeolite of NaA type and a liquid phase of the mother solution, which is sent to the initial stage to obtain an aluminosilicate gel, solid phase of zeolite of NaA type is washed with distilled water, heated to not less than 90°C, to neutral pH values of flushing water, dried at room temperature, and then dried in a drying cabinet for at least 3 hours at temperature of 100 to 105°C.

EFFECT: obtaining synthetic zeolite of NaA type.
