SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tape for overlapping joints, in particular for attachment to a ceiling or a wall, in particular to an acoustic ceiling of perforated building panels, to a method for provision of building panels with a tape for overlapping joints, and to the use of a tape for overlapping joints. The tape for overlapping joints for attachment to a ceiling or a wall contains a layer of permeable non-woven material and an adhesive layer attached to permeable non-woven material, wherein the adhesive layer is applied from one side of non-woven material in the form of a pattern containing sections without adhesive applied to them, wherein the tape for overlapping joints has a width from 3 to 20 mm and a thickness from 15 to 80 mcm. A method for provision of a solid surface of building panels includes a stage of application of such a tape for overlapping joints. The use of such a tape for overlapping joints is also described.

EFFECT: possibility of fast installation of a tape, which can be applied without the use of additional, especially liquid, adhesives.
