FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, namely to veterinary surgery. A median laparotomy is performed, followed by the use of laser radiation with a power of 20-35 W at a wavelength of 1320 nm with an aimed beam of 1.2 mm in contact mode to dissect the spleen tissues. During resection, pauses are made for 30-40 s after every 3 laser passes in the excision zone, at the time of pauses, 1-2 ml of saline is irrigated in the excision zone. After that, tamponade is carried out, excess moisture is removed and further resection is carried out.
EFFECT: method reduces the time of surgical intervention, which reduces anesthetic risks, provides control of the volume of injured tissues, hemostasis in the resection area, and minimal post-traumatic inflammation.
