FIELD: feed products.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for determining indicators of the impact of processing on energy value and a method for optimizing the energy value of raw materials for feed products and/or feed products. A computerized method for determining the effect of treatment on the energy content of a feed and/or feed raw material comprises subjecting a sample of the treated feed and/or feed raw material to: a1) measuring at least one parameter selected from the group consisting of activity trypsin inhibitor, urease activity, protein solubility in alkali and protein dispersibility index, in the sample; a2) determining the ratio of the amount of reactive lysine to the total amount of lysine, a3) measuring the amount of at least one amino acid in the sample, b) plotting the parameters obtained in steps a1)-a3), depending on the processing times of the sample from step a) ; determination on the graph of areas corresponding to c1) under-treated sample, c2) over-treated sample, c3) sufficiently processed sample; and/or subtracting the areas determined in steps c1) and c2) from graph b) and assigning the area thus obtained to a sufficiently processed sample; d) obtaining a treatment scale by standardizing the areas obtained in steps c1) to c3) to the same size, sorting them from overtreated to undertreated or vice versa, and correlating the continuous scale and the standardized and sorted areas; e) substituting the values of the parameters obtained in steps a1)-a3) into a power series and calculating an average value from the values obtained from each power series, said average value being referred to as a processing condition indicator (PCI); f) measurement of total energy (GE), digestible energy (DE), metabolic energy (ME), usable energy (NE) in the case of pigs and/or apparent metabolic energy corrected for zero nitrogen retention (AMEn) in the case of poultry in the sample the same raw material for feed and/or feed as in step a).
EFFECT: invention provides the ability to characterize the factors influencing processing on the energy value of raw materials for feed products.
