FIELD: instrumentation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental biology, agriculture and forestry. The method includes measurement and registration of dynamics of light scattering of a small area of photosynthesising vegetable tissue in process of the first exposure by monochromatic optical radiation of read area of the spectrum in the zone of maximum of chlorophyll absorption with density of capacity 200…1000 W/m2 for 15-30 seconds. Then probing radiation is interrupted, and in 30-60 seconds they again record dynamics of light scattering of the same area in process of the second exposure. Resistance, adaptive potential and restoration ability of photosynthesising apparatus after photoinhibition are decided upon by value of coefficient of light scattering intensity fall amplitude recovery in process of dark conductivity, detected in accordance with the following formula: Kr = 100·[(I0 2-It 2)/I0 2]:[(I0 1-It 1)/I0 1], where I0 2 - intensity of light scattering at the first moment of second exposure, It 2 - intensity of light scattering at certain moment of time of second exposure; I0 1 - intensity of light scattering at the first moment of first exposure, It 1 - intensity of light scattering at certain moment of time of first exposure; t - duration of exposure in process of first and second cycle of measurements. Reduction of coefficient Kr says about weakening of adaptive potential, restoration ability after photoinhibition and reduction of resistance of photosynthetic apparatus to unfavourable factors of habitat. The device comprises a source of quasimonochromatic radiation, a collimator, a restricting diaphragm, an electromechanical lock, a projection lens, a recorder of radiation intensity scattered by an object, a preliminary amplifier. The device comprises also a unit of digitisation of a signal from a recorder of intensity of radiation scattered by an object and calculation of the coefficient Kr, a unit to control radiator capacity and a timer of cyclic exposure with time-setting units of duration of light radiation-measurement cycles and a dark pause.
EFFECT: technology and structural solution will make it possible to reduce labour intensiveness of process for assessment of adaptive potential and restoration ability of plants after photoinhibition due to reduction of duration of measurements and to increase its efficiency.
