SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of information processing technology. The technical result of the invention is to reduce the latency of direct connection data with high latency requirements. The method for transmitting information applied to the terminal device includes the following steps: if an event initiates a report on the status of the BSR buffer, a direct SL connection, and if the first condition is satisfied, at least one of the following is fulfilled: initiating an SR scheduling request; transmitting the first uplink channel containing SR; performing BSR packetization, and BSR at least contains SL BSR. Or the transmission of a second uplink channel containing a packaged BSR; in this case, the first condition includes the SL data that initiates SR and/or BSR corresponds to the second specified condition, and the second specified condition includes the priority of the SL data that initiates SR, above the threshold value.
EFFECT: present invention enables to reduce the latency of a direct connection data with high latency requirements.
