FIELD: building materials and construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of glass silicate based on man-made industrial waste used in the production of building materials and in construction. The method includes sieving, mixing, molding the lower layer, grinding, molding the upper layer, sintering, annealing, cutting and quality control. At the same time, a mixture of enrichment wastes of ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly (KMA) and colemanite is used as the material of the lower layer at a mass ratio of 9:1, respectively. As the glass-containing material of the upper layer, a mixture of colored container glass granules and colemanite is used at a ratio of 10:0.5. Laying the top layer of the mixture into molds is carried out on the pre-laid bottom layer in the amount of 1/10 of the volume of the bottom layer. Sintering is carried out at a temperature of 680°C.
EFFECT: reducing energy consumption and improving the quality of the final product.
