FIELD: glass ceramics.
SUBSTANCE: production of glass silicate used in construction. The method for producing glass silicate includes screening waste, mixing them, laying in molds in the form of a lower layer, grinding, laying glass-containing material in molds in the form of an upper layer, sintering, annealing, cutting and quality control. The material of the lower layer consists of a mixture of finely dispersed crystalline schists, enrichment wastes of ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly (KMA) and colemanite at a mass ratio of 1:1:0.5, respectively, and colemanite is additionally introduced into the glass-containing material of the upper layer at a ratio of colemanite and granular glass 1:10.
EFFECT: increasing the strength and frost resistance of the final product and reducing the power consumption due to sintering at a lower temperature.
