SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of development of compositions of glass-silica used in the production of building materials and construction. The composition of the charge for the production of glass silicate includes the lower layer of the mixture and the upper layer of the mixture. In this case, a mixture of tailings from the enrichment of ferruginous quartzites of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly (KMA) and colemanite in a ratio of 9:1, respectively, is used as the material of the lower layer. As the glass-containing material of the upper layer, a mixture of colored container glass granules with colemanite is used at a mass ratio of 10:0.5. In this case, the upper layer is 1/10 of the volume of the lower layer.

EFFECT: improving the quality of the finished product, increasing the compressive strength and frost resistance of glass silica.
