FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: sprouted grain dryer relates to agriculture and is intended for drying sprouted grain used as a vitamin additive for animals. Sprouted grain dryer consists of a hopper, a screw dispenser, belt conveyors, supporting rollers, plough levellers, and infrared lamps. The dryer comprises a heat exchanger comprising two circuits and shaped as a cylinder with an inlet cover and a blind cover installed on the end sides thereof, a horizontal divider dividing the inner cavity of the inlet cover into an upper cavity and a lower cavity is installed on the side of the inlet cover. The inner cavity of the inlet cover is separated from the cylinder cavity by an inlet vertical divider; the inner cavity of the blind cover is separated from the cylinder cavity by an outlet vertical divider. Upper horizontal tubes connected to the upper cavity of the inlet cover are installed inside the cylinder. Lower horizontal tubes connected to the lower cavity of the inlet cover are installed inside the cylinder. The entry pipeline of the first circuit is connected to the exhaust pipe of the boiler unit, the exit pipeline of the first circuit is connected to the exhaust pipe for spent gases. An air blower is installed on the entry pipeline of the first circuit. The entry pipeline of the second circuit is connected to the upper inlet pipeline located to the side of the hopper relative to the upper belt conveyor and also connected to the lower inlet pipeline located to the side of the hopper relative to the lower belt conveyor. A dryer filter is installed on the upper inlet pipeline, an air blower and a dryer filter are located on the lower inlet pipeline. Vertical dividers are installed inside the cylinder, wherein adjacent vertical dividers are installed on opposite sides inside the cylinder.

EFFECT: lower cost of drying sprouted grains due to the use of spent heat carrier of boiler units, removal of moisture from the spent drying agent and the spent cold air due to the use of dryer filters, and use of the spent thermal energy generated from cooling the sprouted grain after the drying process.
