FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: sprouted grain dryer relates to agriculture and is intended for sprouted grain drying used as a vitamin additive to animal and poultry fodder. Sprouted grain dryer consists of housing, loading hopper, batcher, belt conveyors, infrared lamps, scrapers, plough distributors, partition, dampers, heater, hot air fan, cold air fan, hot air guide pipe, cold air guide pipe, exhaust pipes, unloading window, unloading hopper, wherein the dryer housing is made from a drying zone located in the upper part and a cooling zone located in the lower part, in the drying zone there is a belt conveyor, above which infrared lamps are located, in the cooling zone there is a belt conveyor, above the belt conveyors located in the drying zone and the cooling zone, there are plough distributors, in order to reduce heat exchange, the drying zone and the cooling zone are separated by a partition and a damper, infrared lamps are designed to provide the sprouted grain heating, the hot air guide tube is installed above the partition, hot air guide tube is made with possibility of vertical movement for supply of hot air at optimum height above belt conveyor, cold air guide tube is made with possibility of vertical movement to implement cold air supply at optimum height above belt conveyor, belt conveyor located in drying zone, and belt conveyor arranged in cooling zone are made with possibility of movement in opposite directions, to ensure removal of germinated grain from surface of conveyors located in zones of drying and cooling, scrapers are installed.

EFFECT: sprouted grain dryer increases drying speed.
