FIELD: pipes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of seamless hot-worked corrosion-resistant pipes from austenitic steel. Heating of a continuously cast billet with a drilled axial zone along the entire length of the billet to a plasticity temperature is carried out, the billet is rolled into a sleeve and the sleeve is rolled into a pipe. Sleeve rolling is carried out in a continuous mill with an ovality of calibers of 1.05÷1.18 at a ratio of the width of the caliber to the diameter of the sleeve not exceeding 1.07. The sleeve is rolled in the extraction and sizing mill and the pipes are heat treated.
EFFECT: urface quality of the pipes is improved.
