FIELD: composite materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to epoxy binders for composite materials, which can be used as adhesives, coatings, impregnation solutions, binders for composite materials. An epoxy binder for composite materials is proposed, consisting of 100 wt.pt. of epoxidian resin ED-20, 78.2 wt.pt. of an isomethyltetrahydrophthalic anhydride curing agent, and 1.5 wt.pt. of 2,4,6-tris(dimethylaminomethyl)phenol curing accelerator, different in that, as epoxidian resin, a mixture is used of epoxy resin ED-20 and furfuralacetone monomers selected from monomers containing 61.57 wt.% of monofurfurylidenacetone and 39.22 wt.% of difurfurylidenacetone, 60.78 wt.% of difurfurylidenacetone and 38.43 wt.% of monofurfurylidenacetone, and 10.73 wt.% of monofurfurylidenacetone, 87.69 wt.% of difurfurylidenacetone, and 1.58 wt.% of furfural, at the mass ratio from 90:10 to 50:50.
EFFECT: increase in strength characteristics of a cured epoxy binder, reduction in cost of its production, expansion of a range of epoxy resins, improvement of technological and operational properties of the epoxy binder.
