SUBSTANCE: fluid reservoir (3) for removable installation on base (1) of a steam generation device is claimed. In this case, specified reservoir (3) contains hole (4) for filling reservoir (3) with fluid and a cover installed on hole (4) with the possibility of rotation between a closed position, in which hole (4) is overlapped, and an open position for filling reservoir (3). Moreover, the reservoir additionally contains peripheral rib (9) protruding outside reservoir (3) and formed along the entire periphery of hole (4) and groove (12) formed with a recess between peripheral rib (9) and an outer wall of reservoir (3). Cover (5) contains an inner wall, in which peripheral groove (10) is formed, intended for placement on peripheral rib (9) in the area of hole (4), when cover (5) is in the closed position. At the same time, cover (5) additionally contains at least one guiding means (11) protruding from the inner wall of cover (5), wherein guiding means (11) is at least partially located along peripheral groove (10) so that it rests against peripheral rib (9) in the closed position.
