SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a base for a household electrical appliance for producing steam intended for connection with a portable unit, wherein the base (1) contains a reservoir (2) for liquid and has a support wall (4) that allows the base (1) to be placed on a work surface, moreover the supporting wall (4) contains at least two mounting suction cups (5, 5'), protruding relative to the support wall (4) for the height (Hv) of the suction cup, and the specified height (Hv) of the suction cup is determined with respect to the base plane (Pr), tangent to the support wall, and at least two specified mounting suction cups (5, 5') are designed to bring them into contact with the work surface to secure the base (1) on the specified work surface, while the supporting wall (4) additionally contains at least two stabilizers (6, 6'), protruding relative to the support wall (4) for the height (Hs) of the stabilizer, determined relative to the base plane (Pr), and the specified height (Hs) of the stabilizer is less than the height (Hv) of the suction cup.

EFFECT: improving the stability of the base of a household appliance for the production of steam, containing a reservoir, while the base is made with the possibility of being fixed on the working surface with the help of suction cups.
