SUBSTANCE: dowel for fastening rails to reinforced concrete sleepers (options) refers to the structure of the upper structure of the railway track, in particular, to a plastic dowel for fastening a rail to a concrete sleeper and can be used for tram tracks. The dowel (options 1, 2) comprises an upper part and a lower part, between which there is a middle part with an internal thread for receiving a sleeper screw and an external round thread for unscrewing from the sleeper or screwing into it. The thread contains the front sides of the profile of the internal thread of the dowel and lagging sides, which have different angles α and β of elevation, the wall thickness of the front sides I_p is greater than the wall thickness of the lagging sides I0, the transition radius of the front sides R_p to the inner cylindrical surface is less than the transition radius lagging sides R₀. The dowel (option 2) is equipped with a plug to protect the inner cavity of the dowel, installed inside and on the end of the lower part of the dowel.

EFFECT: reliability of fastening rails to reinforced concrete sleepers increases, the service life of the intermediate rail fastening increases with a simultaneous increase in maintenance intervals.
