FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of trajectory measurements and can be used on ground and on-board spacecraft flight control systems to determine the current parameters of spacecraft movement. Earth stations (ES) are selected and a radiating key reference station (RKRS) is installed so that the mutual distances between the ES, as well as the distances between the ES and the RKRS, are maximized. The values of the frequency difference between the emitted and received test radio signal of the RKRS after its retransmission by the main spacecraft are measured in the receiving radio engineering station (PRES); the values of the frequency nominals of the received radio signals of n-x ES are measured in the PRES after their retransmission by the main and adjacent spacecraft, respectively; the orthogonal components of the velocity vector of the main spacecraft are calculated based on the measured frequency shifts of the radio signals of the system.
EFFECT: increase in the accuracy of determining the orthogonal components of the spacecraft velocity vector.
