FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technique of performing trajectory measurements, determining the coordinates of a spacecraft (SC), and can be used on ground-based and on-board spacecraft flight control systems to accurately determine the current parameters of the spacecraft movement. The technical result is to increase the accuracy of determining the coordinates of the spacecraft by selecting earth stations (ES) and installing an emitting benchmark station (EBS) so that the mutual distances between the ES, as well as the distances between the ES and the EBS, are maximum. The method for determining the coordinates of the main spacecraft x1, y1, z1 includes measuring the time delay value in a receiving radio station (RRS) due to correlation processing of radio signals ΔtH between the emitted and received test radio signal of the emitting benchmark station (EBS) after its retransmission by the main spacecraft, measurement in the RRS due to correlation processing of radio signals for each nth earth station (ES) of time delay values Δtn between received radio signals after their retransmission by the main and adjacent spacecraft, respectively, calculation of the coordinates of the main spacecraft x1, y1, z1 based on the specified time delays of the system radio signals.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of determining the coordinates of the spacecraft.
