FIELD: warehousing facilities.
SUBSTANCE: method for determining the volume of the embankment in closed warehouses includes preparatory, field and desk stages. At the preparatory stage, the number of static cameras is determined and fixed above the measured embankment, connecting them to an Ethernet network, and identification marks are placed on the warehouse floor, while cameras and identification marks are coordinated in a conditional coordinate system. At the field stage, the embankment is captured by all cameras and photos are transmitted over an Ethernet network to a remote automated image processing system. At the camera stage, the photographs are assigned a photographing coordinate, then the combination and preliminary alignment of the obtained photographs are sequentially carried out, the alignment and alignment of reference points with identification marks indicating their coordinates, the refinement of camera coordinates, the generation of a dense cloud of points and the construction of a height map based on it. Next, the contour of the embankment is recognized, the contour is synthesized from isolines and a three-dimensional polygonal model of the embankment, followed by interpolation of the model and determination of the volume of the embankment.
EFFECT: accuracy of measuring the volume of bulk products located in closed warehouses increases.
