FIELD: materials drying technologies.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to technologies for drying materials and can be used in various industries, such as chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, and also in agriculture for drying grain and seeds. A method for drying wheat grain is described, which is carried out by contacting the grain with a powder desiccant. The removal of moisture from the grain occurs when the mixture is mixed due to moisture exchange. Upon reaching the required moisture content of 14-16%, the grain is separated from the desiccant and the latter is regenerated. Magnesium sulfate MgSO4 is used as a powder desiccant, the mass ratio "grain:desiccant" is (2-6):1. Drying of grain is realized for one cycle. Dryer regeneration is carried out at a temperature of 150°C.

EFFECT: reduction of the amount of powder desiccant, reduction of drying stages and reduction of the energy intensity of the process.
