FIELD: moisture removing sorption technologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of sorption technologies for removing moisture, namely, methods for producing composite sorbents-driers, and can be used in various industries, such as chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, for drying various materials, including bulk and thermolabile, as well as in agro-industrial complex for drying grain and seeds of agricultural crops. A method for producing a microspherical composite desiccant for bulk materials is presented, including the introduction of magnesium sulfate into the matrix of a moisture-absorbing substance, characterized in that cenospheres are used as the desiccant matrix, which are isolated from concentrates of energy ash cenospheres in the form of narrow fractions of globules of an annular and reticular structure, and the shell is composite glass-ceramic material composition, wt. %: aluminosilicate glass phase, 64–93; mullite, 1–34; quartz, 2–6; % by precipitation from supersaturated solutions.
EFFECT: invention provides increasing the capacity of the composite desiccant by increasing the content of the active moisture-absorbing component, eliminating its losses, easy separation due to encapsulation in the inner cavity of the microspherical matrix, and reducing energy consumption.
