FIELD: gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for reconstruction of a purification section of a methanol distillation unit, into which a flow of raw methanol is supplied, and which includes medium-pressure (hereinafter – MP) purification column (300) made with the possibility of operation at first distillation pressure (p1) and low-pressure (hereinafter – LP) purification column (400) made with the possibility of operation at second distillation pressure (p2), where p1 is greater than p2. Each MP purification column (300) and LP purification column (400) contains at least one cubic boiler supplying distillation heat to MP column and LP column, respectively. MP purification column (300) contains upper outlet pipeline (304) for a gaseous flow of methanol distillate and lower outlet pipeline (305) for a methanol-containing solution. Upper outlet pipeline (304) is supplied to at least one cubic boiler (401) of LP purification column, for which the gaseous flow of methanol distillate serves as a heat source, and lower outlet pipeline (305) is supplied to LP purification column, in which the methanol-containing solution is further purified. At the same time, high-pressure (hereinafter – HP) purification column (200) is installed, made with the possibility of operation at third distillation pressure (p3), where p3 is higher than p1. Pipeline (204) is also installed for supply of the gaseous flow of methanol distillate from an upper part of HP column to at least one cubic boiler of MP column, for which the gaseous flow of methanol distillate serves as a heat source, and lower outlet pipeline (205) is installed for removal of a liquid flow consisting mainly of water from the newly installed HP column.
EFFECT: increase in the performance of a purification section of a methanol distillation unit containing MP distillation column and LP distillation column, while maintaining low energy consumption and small investments, without overloading existing distillation sections of medium and low pressure.
