FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to transmitting and receiving antennas for irrotational scalar-longitudinal electromagnetic waves in the microwave range. The effect is achieved by the fact that the receiving-transmitting antenna, containing a block for dividing the input vortex transverse-vector electromagnetic field of the TEM wave into two equal parts with equal and identically directed in-phase vectors of the electric and magnetic fields, while the output channels of the division block are connected to one end reference and antiphase channels of the feeder path of the TEM wave, respectively.
EFFECT: transformation of the input vortex transverse-vector electromagnetic field into an irrotational scalar-longitudinal electromagnetic wave emitted by the antenna.
