FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: transmitting and receiving antennas for irrotational unpolarized longitudinal scalar (IRLS) electromagnetic waves (EMW) in the microwave range and can find application in communication systems, in radar, in medical devices for electromagnetic hyperthermia and electromagnetic applicators, in radio monitoring problems, in electromagnetic compatibility problems. The receiving/transmitting antenna contains three-dB power divider 3 with reference 4 and antiphase 5 channels, mutual dual-channel phase-shifting unit (DCPSU) 8 that generates signals with a phase difference of 180, mutual reference channel synchronization unit (RCSU) 12, mutual antiphase channel synchronization unit (APCSU) 15, dual-channel input and single-channel output field-wave superposition unit (FWSPU) 19, field-wave interference zero-vector summation unit (FWIZVSU) 23, trap-absorber block 26 for aperture VNPTV EMW, shielded monopole antenna in the form of asymmetrical vibrator 30 with metal quarter-wave glass 32, metal screen 33 of the monopole antenna.
EFFECT: creation of a receiving-transmitting shielded monopole antenna, which, in the transmission mode, converts TEM-type input vortex non-polarized transverse vector (VNPTV) EMW into emitted IRLS EMF, and, in the receiving mode, converts the received IRLS EMW into TEM-type VNPTV EMW with all the functional elements and feeder path implemented on symmetrical shielded stripline transmission lines.
