SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to radio engineering. Mobile measuring posts on unmanned aerial vehicles and an established algorithm for their movement are used, and measurements are performed with simultaneous radiation at all specified frequencies of spurious electromagnetic radiation for ensuring the possibility of studying spurious electromagnetic radiation and periodic monitoring of the security of a complex (group) object of information processing equipment, taking into account the real electromagnetic situation in the area of its location. The controlled area of space is divided into sectors, and the location of the mobile measuring post in the sectors is controlled using a rangefinder and radio frequency identifiers to improve the accuracy of the results of measurement of the spurious electromagnetic radiation of a group information processing equipment object, taking into account its actual location on the ground relative to the boundary of the controlled zone.

EFFECT: present invention enables to determine the location of the boundary of the controlled zone and location of the active protection equipment based on the results of measurements.
