FIELD: air cooling.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to air cooling in residential, public, industrial premises, transport, as well as in open areas under canopies. The device for solar evaporative air cooling includes a fan for blowing air, a hygroscopic capillary-porous material, which is brought into direct contact with the cooled space and/or placed on a substrate surface in contact with the surface of the cooled space, a refrigerant is placed on the hygroscopic capillary-porous material, evaporating under the influence of solar radiation, and the device additionally contains a water distribution pipe with nozzles for spraying water refrigerant, pipes for connecting to a water source through appropriate valves and control equipment for periodically supplying water to the water distribution pipe and spraying the refrigerant, the device is additionally equipped with solar reflectors-heliostats, directing solar radiation to the shady and unlit side of the object, which are located at a distance of at least 0.5 m from the water distribution pipe.
EFFECT: providing more efficient air cooling for objects in the shade.
