FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to pediatric urology. A thread is passed through the side holes located in the area of the closed end of the catheter and a closed loop with a diameter of 3 cm is formed, tying a knot, which is immersed in the lumen of the catheter. Then the catheter with the end containing the loop is inserted through the urethra into the bladder so that the length of the section of the catheter passed through the urethra and located in the bladder is 20-25 cm. After that, 10 ml of saline is injected into the bladder, the catheter is closed from the side outer end and rotate it around the axis with simultaneous outward traction until the end of the stent emerges from the urethra.
EFFECT: method is simple to perform, little invasive, allows you to prevent complications caused by cystoscopy, general anesthesia.
