FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of clinical laboratory diagnostics of viral infections and can be used for genotyping the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). The method can be used to study the population characteristics of EBV and the clinical and epidemiological features of human diseases associated with it. For the genotyping of the EBV virus, PCR with electrophoretic visualization of amplification products in agarose gel is carried out in one round according to a single amplification protocol in compliance with the following modes: initiation 95°C 1 min 30 sec, 45 cycles: 95°C 30 sec, 59°C 40 sec, 72°C 1 min 30 sec, final elongation 72°C 8 min. In this case, specific pairs of primers are used: Ap1 (5'-ТCТ TGA TAG GGA ТCC GCT AGG АТА-3') и Ар2 (5'-АCC GTG GTT CTG GAC TAT CTG GAT C-3'), amplifying a fragment of 497 bp, Bp1 (5'-CАТ GGT AGC CТТ AGG АCА ТА-3') and Bp2 (5'-AGA CТТ AGT TGA TGC CCТ AG-3'), amplifying a fragment of 150 bp, detecting EBV-1 and EBV-2, respectively.
EFFECT: implementation of the method reduces the time, simplifies the analysis procedure, and reduces the consumption of reagents.
