METHOD FOR DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS OF INFECTIOUS MONONUCLEOSIS OF VARIOUS AETIOLOGY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/68

Abstract RU 2707077 C1

FIELD: laboratory diagnostics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory diagnostics, medical virology, molecular biology and epidemiology and can be used for differential diagnosis of infectious mononucleosis associated with Epstein-Barr virus and human herpes virus type 6. Substance of the method: in peripheral leukocytes of patients diagnosed with infectious mononucleosis, FADD mRNA, CIRBP transcript 2 and TRAF3 transcript 2 levels are determined and if the expression is reduced, the EBV-associated is diagnosed, and if the expression increases, the HHV-6-associated infectious mononucleosis is diagnosed.

EFFECT: invention provides an informative and evidentiary method for differential diagnosis of infectious mononucleosis.
