FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of organic chemistry, namely to a heterocyclic compound of formula (I) or (II) or its pharmacologically acceptable salt, solvate or hydrate, where R1 is 1-ethyl-2-methyl-4-imidazolyl, 4-(N-methylaminocarbonyl)-phenyl, 2,2-difluoroethyl; R2 is a 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)sulfonyl)phenyl, 2-(methylsulfonyl)ethyl, 4-(N-methylaminocarbonyl)phenyl. The invention also relates to the use of a compound of formula (I) or (II), a pharmaceutical composition based on a compound of formula (I) or (II), a method for reducing aldosterone levels and a method for the treatment and/or prevention of a disease mediated by CYP11B2 activity based on the use of a compound of formula (I) or (II).
EFFECT: inhibition of the activity of human cytochrome 11B2 (CYP11B2) by a compound of formula (I) or (II).
