The helmet is intended for placement on the head, and it defines an inner surface facing hair, when the helmet is put on. The helmet contains channels. Each channel defines an inlet section for hair in channels and the main elongation axis radial to the inner surface. The helmet also contains hair cutting devices in channels, defining a cutting direction perpendicular to the main elongation axis. The device contains suction means intended for decreasing pressure in the specified channels. At the same time, the helmet contains ventilation channels intended for provision of through communication via fluid of suction means with channels and connecting channels to each other to provide the same pressure in channels.
