FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of computer technology for processing audio data. The effect is achieved by creating a signal of the analyzed subrange associated with the frequency band of the input audio signal; extracting a frame L of input discrete values from a series of complex-valued analyzed discrete values; applying a block input step to a set of complex-valued analyzed samples before extracting the next frame of L input samples; determining a frame of processed discrete values from a frame of input discrete values by determining for each processed discrete value of the frame: the phase of the processed discrete value by shifting the phase of the corresponding input discrete value; and the amplitude of the processed sample value based on the amplitude of the corresponding input sample value and the amplitude of the predetermined input sample value; and determining a synthesis subband signal by superimposing and adding the samples of the set of frames of the processed samples.
EFFECT: reducing the computational complexity of the harmonic transformation to improve the quality of the audio signal.
