FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to systems providing preservation of explosion protection of non-explosion-proof gas-turbine engines, components of which can be potential ignition sources, with leakage of explosive fuel gas supplied under pressure exceeding 10 bar in a compartment of a gas-turbine installation. At the first stage of explosion protection, a gas jet of potentially dangerous leakage is deflected and dissipated using a deflector screen located around a potential source of dangerous leakage. After that, supply of fuel gas to the gas-turbine engine is stopped by a signal of a device for remote control of a gas sample with gas analyzers of combustible gases, remote controlling gas contamination in a zone limited with the deflector screen, using a gas sampling probe. If supply of fuel gas was not stopped by the signal of the device for remote control of a gas sample with gas analyzers of combustible gases, preventive ignition of a gas-air mixture is performed with a technological igniter located near a hole in the deflector screen before the formation of an explosive gas concentration in a significant volume of the compartment of the gas-turbine installation.

EFFECT: obtainment of a system for explosion protection of a non-explosion-proof gas-turbine engine.
