FIELD: beverage making.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a device for making a beverage of an ingredient and to the use of an ingredient. The device for making a beverage of an ingredient, such as an ingredient supplied inside a capsule to such a device, contains an extraction unit, which has a seat for extraction of the ingredient, an input mechanism for direction of water to the seat, and an output mechanism for direction of the beverage from the seat. The output mechanism contains a surface limiting part of the seat, located downstream and having a flow part made with the possibility of provision of flowing of the beverage flowing out of the seat through the flow part to a beverage output zone. The surface additionally has a part preventing the flow, which is at least partially adjacent to the flow part to limit the seat. The part preventing the flow is made with the possibility of prevention of passage of the beverage flowing out of the seat or prevention of passage through the part preventing the flow. The flow part and the part preventing the flow have the ratio of surface areas in the range from 0.2 to 5. In addition, the part preventing the flow is stationary or is fixed relatively to the flow part. In addition, the flow part is made with the possibility of being in different positions relatively to the seat to adjust a direction of a water flow through the specified ingredient, when being in the seat, depending on a position of the flow part.
EFFECT: prevention of passage of a beverage, as well as adjustment of a direction of a water flow.
