FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to use of nutritional composition, containing at least one fucosylated oligosaccharide and at least one N-acetylated oligosaccharide to reduce the temperature and/or reduce the administration of antibiotics and/or antipyretic agents to an infant or young child, in which the fucosylated oligosaccharide(s) are present in a total amount of 0.75–1.65 g/l of the composition and/or in a total amount of 0.52–1.15 g/100 g of the composition in calculated per weight of dry substance; and N-acetylated oligosaccharide (s) are present (-y) in total amount of 0.45–0.85 g/l of composition and/or in total amount of 0.31–0.59 g/100 g of composition in terms of dry substance weight.
EFFECT: present invention provides a synergetic effect of at least one fucosylated oligosaccharide and at least one N-acetylated oligosaccharide in case of using them to reduce temperature and/or reduce the introduction of antibiotics and/or antipyretics to an infant or young child.
