FIELD: air conditioners.
SUBSTANCE: air conditioning system used on polar ships using cold outside air in polar conditions. The air conditioning system of the polar ship comprises an air intake chamber configured to suck in outside air as air conditioning air for the polar ship and as combustion air to be supplied to the engine room; an air heater capable of heating outdoor air by heat exchange between outside air sucked into the intake chamber and exhaust gas from an engine; and an air valve configured to supply outside air to the air heater as air conditioning air from the outside air sucked into the air intake chamber.
EFFECT: system is simple in design for high energy efficiency and can be operated at low cost.
