FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of radio engineering and can be used in creation and modernization of means of monitoring the operability of aircraft (AC) navigation user equipment (NUE). Essence of the invention consists in that the decision on inoperability of the controlled NUE of the estimated AC is formed as a result of detection of discrepancy of the main and control estimates of distances between the estimated AC and each of the interacting AC. At that, main estimation of distance is formed by delay of UPS transmitted at certain moments of time on the side of each of interacting AC to estimated AC, and the control estimate is based on the values of spatial coordinates of the interacting AC and the spatial coordinates of the estimated AC, generated by the NUE, transmitted in the UPS data. Unlike the prototype, this allows to take into account the cases of incorrect measurement of the controlled NUE of the horizontal components of the coordinates of the estimated AC and, as a result, increase the reliability of monitoring its operability as a whole in conditions of violation of the integrity of the navigation field.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to increase the reliability of monitoring the operability of the NUE of the estimated AC.
