FIELD: small household appliances for the kitchen.
SUBSTANCE: combined coffee makers, allowing the preparation of both ground coffee and coffee packed in standard capsules. The coffee maker is characterized by a working pressure in the range from 3.5 to 22 bar and the presence of a horn; the shape of its receiving part is modified in such a way that a standard coffee capsule can be fixed in it, directly or with the help of a removable fixing element. The receiving part of the horn also allows the installation of a removable part with piercing elements placed inside the horn. The perforating element can be a cover with a needle placed over the capsule, installed directly in the body of the horn, or can be made in the form of a part with a recess for the capsule, at the bottom of which three knives are placed. In the latter case, the perforating element is also mounted above the capsule located in the removable capsule holder. The capsule can be brought into working condition under water pressure during the preparation of the drink or by the application of muscle strength.
EFFECT: preparation of coffee from capsules of various shapes and sizes while simultaneously simplifying the mechanism for fixing the capsules, as well as increasing the efficiency of the capsule perforation mechanism.
