FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a technology for the production of graphene materials, in particular to methods for reduction of graphene oxide to graphene by means of treatment in a halogen medium. A method for reduction of graphene oxide to graphene by means of treatment in a halogen medium is proposed, including stages of obtainment of a graphene oxide suspension in an iodine solution, formation of film of reduced graphene oxide by drying of the suspension. The method differs in that, for the preparation of the suspension, an iodine solution in isopropanol is used, while an iodine concentration in isopropanol is from 1 to 10 % by wt., and 1% aqueous graphene oxide suspension is used, while drying of the suspension based on graphene oxide with iodine consists in unloading of the suspension to plastic containers and their placement to a fume hood for 4 days under normal conditions.
EFFECT: proposed method allows for provision of obtainment of reduced graphene oxide with high specific electroconductivity.
