FIELD: optics; displaying information.

SUBSTANCE: electromechanical pixels of the display contain three electromechanical subpixels, which are disk-light filters that transmit light of one of the three wavelengths R - red, G - green, B - blue with black sectors and magnetic stipes applied to them. The filter disks are located in the liquid in the triad of matrix holes and rotate freely in the plane of the matrix. The matrix is closed on both sides with protective films. Transparent addressable electrodes are formed and applied on the front protective transparent film, passing over each filter disk and having the same opaque sectors as on the filter disks themselves. There is a light guide layer between the rear protective film and the matrix; and a reflective surface is applied on the rearmost protective film, on the side of the matrix.

EFFECT: simplified design, increased reliability and strength of the device.
