SUBSTANCE: used to protect underground pipelines. The system contains single indicators, a switch, a conductivity measurement unit, conductivity data registers, comparison units, setters, comparators, a conductivity data divider, an arc tangent calculation unit, square calculation units, a square root extraction unit, a memory unit for the magnitude and direction of corrosion, a timer, control units, reception and transmission units, polling synchronization blocks, measuring the induced voltage of individual indicators, comparing the dynamics of induced voltages, registers, generating corrective actions, an adder for correcting the protective potentials of electrochemical protection equipment along the entire length of the underground pipeline.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of pipeline operation by measuring the dynamics of stray currents under non-stationary influences of external electric fields from electric vehicles and other sources.
