FIELD: dispersion-strengthened detonation coatings.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dispersion-strengthened detonation coatings operating in considerable wear conditions. A method for obtaining wear-resistant composite coating containing a matrix of Fe66Cr10Nb5B19 alloy with amorphous structure and hardening aluminum oxide particles on the metal product includes preparation of a powder mixture of powders of a multi-component iron-based alloywith high glass-forming ability with particle size of 20 to 40 microns and aluminum oxide particle size of 20 to 45 microns at the content of aluminum oxide powder in the powder mixture of 10-40 wt. % and applying the resulting powder mixture to the surface of a metal article by means of detonation spraying.
EFFECT: invention provides for obtaining a composite coating with low porosity combined with high wear and corrosion resistance.
