FIELD: oil industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to installations for the treatment of sulphurous-alkaline effluents generated during alkaline purification of oil products, oil refining and other industries. The installation includes a contact column 5, an oxidizing reactor 2, a pressurized furnace 1. The furnace 1 is connected to the column by a supply line for exhausted sulfur-containing gas 10 and is equipped with fuel supply lines 12, air 11 and a flue gas outlet line 13. The column 5 is made of two sections. On the flue gas outlet line 13, an abutment of the second air flow supply line 14 is located to form a flue gas/air mixture supply line. This line is divided into two. On the first line, a gas-phase reactor 2 with a catalyst for the oxidation of sulfur dioxide is installed as an oxidizing reactor. The reactor 2 is connected by an oxidation gas supply line 7, equipped with a first cooler 3, to the intersection space of the column. A second cooler 4 is installed on the second line. After the second cooler 4, the second line is divided into a line 16 for outputting the balance flow of the flue gas/air mixture and a line 8 for supplying the circulating flue gas/air mixture. Line 8 is connected to the lower part of the column 5. The column 5 is equipped with a line 6 for the supply of sulphurous-alkaline effluents and a line 9 for the output of treated effluents.
