FIELD: treatment of effluents.

SUBSTANCE: unit for non-reagent utilization of sour-alkaline wastewater includes a contact column, an oxidizing reactor, a pressurized furnace connected to the column by a line for supplying exhausted sour gas and equipped with fuel and air supply lines and a flue gas outlet line, as well as a refrigerator. The supply line of the first air flow is placed as the air supply line, the column is made of two sections, on the flue gas outlet line there is an adjoining of the second air flow supply line to form a flue gas-air mixture supply line, which is divided into three lines. On the first line, a gas-phase reactor with a catalyst for the oxidation of sulphur dioxide is installed as an oxidizing reactor, connected by an oxidation gas supply line equipped with a first cooler to the intersection space of the column. The second line is equipped with a second cooler and is connected to the bottom of the column. The third line is the output line for the balance flow of the flue gas mixture with air. In addition, the column is equipped with a line for supplying sulphurous-alkaline effluents and a line for discharging treated effluents.

EFFECT: simplified unit design by equipping it with a reactor with a sulphur dioxide oxidation catalyst and a two-section contact column.
